About Us:
Lynne Morris, LCSW

Lynne Morris width=Lynne Morris, LCSW, grew up in Warren, Ohio and came to New York in 1969 to attend NYU, where she was awarded an MSW in 1971. She worked at the Community Service Society; at Altro, a vocational rehabilitation center and sheltered workshop; and at Montefiore Hospital and Medical Center, where she was an Assistant Director in the Social Service and Home Care departments.

Lynne began a private practice in psychotherapy in 1975 and joined the PSI (then CHDC) staff in 1979. She currently has office hours at the Rutgers and Trinity sites.

Lynne is a member of the National Association of Social Workers, a member of the American Association of Pastoral Counselors, and a Diplomate in the New York State Society for Clinical Social Work, for which she serves on the Board of the Metropolitan Chapter. She also hold the credential of Board Certified Diplomate from the American Board of Examiners in Clinical Social Work.

On the spiritual/religious front, Lynne is an ordained Elder in the Presbyterian Church (USA) and she is an active member at Rutgers Presbyterian Church.
