Willie Smith is a psychoanalyst in private practice in New York City. He has a graduate degree in Social Work from Fordham University. He has worked with The Visiting Nurses Services of New York, The Momentum Project and a number of public health community based programs in the New York area. Willie went on for further clinical training and became certified as an analyst from National Psychological Association for Psychoanalysis and he has studied with The Ackerman Institute for Family Therapy. He is affiliated with NAAP and currently teaches and supervises at the Psychoanalytic Psychotherapy Study Center, where he also Chairs the Diversity Committee. Willie has a Masters in Divinity from the General Theological Seminary and is a member of number of Diocesan Committees with in the Diocese of Newark. He works with individuals, groups, couples, substance abusers, g/l/b/t concerns and clergy.
